I made this website because I wanted a place to catalogue my collection and maybe put my portifolio on. I'm new to HTML, so bare with me...
Art is, for me, the purest form of human expression. It can for sure be exploited by ulterior motives, and I'd argue that most, if not all art has some political message behind it, but it also has a lot to say about the soul of the person behind it. The style, the presentation, the themes and all the choices that make one piece reflect it's authors preferences, views, humor, opinions and so much more. And it takes so many different forms too. I genuinelly believe art is much more than we normally give it credit for. Art is everywhere and we would not be ourselves without it. From the clothes we wear, from the music in the train station, to even the packaging in the stuff we buy to eat, we are surrounded by artistic choices, we build our own identities off of it. I want to be able to consume and produce art more intentionally and learn the most from it. I hope one day I can proudly say that I'm as much as a "connoisseur" as I am a consumer (without beight a pretentious asshole). I want to be able to decorate my life with thoughfully placed ornaments, give attention to the things that matter most and stop being consumed by the mundane and the corporate gray that has infested our world. As the internet says, I want more whimsy, and I hope I can share this whismy with the people who want to listen. Bellow are some of the art I am currently enjoying or love the most. Enjoy :)
